Sandra LaFave, now retired, was Chair of the WVC Philosophy Department from 1986 to 2006, and Division Chair of the Fine Arts Division from 2007 through 2010. She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Claremont Graduate School, and a B. A. in Philosophy from Fordham University.
Dr. LaFave also has many years of experience in the computer industry as a technical writer and trainer.
She has published in UNIX World. She achieved less than
fifteen minutes of semi-fame in 1989 when Dave Barry singled her out as an "extremely alert reader."
